Abilities Dance Boston is thrilled to present Vel'Fyra: Firebird Part 2. This is a continuation from a completely reimagined Firebird ballet that premiered May 2021. This ballet has been written and choreographed by Founder/Executive and Artistic DIrector Ellice Patterson with a completely original score by Music & Operations Director Andrew Choe. The core theme includes the central question "Once the Firebird is liberated from the Prince, what if the Firebird saves herself and not everyone else?" From there comes an avalanche of questions across universes. This performance includes animation by Will Machado, aerial silks by Ellice Patterson, and more. This family-friendly performance is not a performance you will want to miss, especially for our Sunday matinee to encourage younger audiences to attend. 

As a note, this year we are only livestreaming the June 19th performance during its performance time. Once the performance ends, it will be unavailable for viewing so please plan accordingly.
