ADB is seeking out dancers for our summer virtual show that centers climate justice and disability justice. Because of reducing our carbon footprint, we are doing a fully virtual performance from rehearsal to performance. We are open to anyone auditioning in the US with a preference for MA based folks in consideration for future works. This performance is dancer-led, which means you will work with one or multiple ADB choreographers with pieces that resonate with them. Exact hours will vary as we try to take into account folks’ availability as much as possible.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
Participate in 1 - 3 performance pieces
Attend all virtual rehearsals (with exception of 2 excused absences)
Retain choreography and contribute to the process
Maintain communications with choreographer and ADB team for any requested information and as access needs arise through email/phone in a timely manner
REQUIREMENTS:
Must be comfortable in an all virtual environment
Must have dance experience in ballet/contemporary/modern
Must be comfortable with intersectional disability justice
Must share access needs up front, if applicable, so we can do our best to secure them/work with choreographers to ensure they can provide the best experience possible
Compensation: $18/hr per rehearsal rate and $25/hr per show week rate.
