Join us at the Discovery Museum in Acton for a performance by Ellice Patterson, scientist by night, dancer by day. Ellice is a biologist who is passionate about science communication and is the Founder/Executive and Artistic Director of Abilities Dance Boston. Check out this side of her work as she performs adaptive ballet at Discovery Museum. Then see her portrait painted for her scientific contributions within the Discovery Museum.
There will be two performances at 3 pm and 5:30 pm. After 5 pm, the museum will be closed to the general public so if you want to attend the 5:30 pm showing, register for general museum admission for free here.
This performance is part of Discovery’s Especially for Me program. In preparation for your trip, you may want to look through our Tips for Visiting and our Accessibility page.
Ellice Patterson is co-creator of our Black Women in Science program series and a Discovery Museum Science & Engineering Communication Fellow.
