Amaal Ladha is a Boston-based dancer, choreographer, and writer with training in Modern, Improvisation, Ballet, and Bharatanatyam. While completing a double major in English and Dance at Wesleyan University, Class of 2023, they performed in works by Hari Krishnan, Douglas Elkins, Joya Powell, and Toshi Reagon. Amaal’s choreography has been featured in Vietnamese Lunar New Year Celebration Tết In Boston 2024, and Boston WiP Show 2024. They are endlessly fascinated with investigating duet work as a locus of healing, activating energy, and finding intimate connection. Amaal is honored to join Abilities Dance Boston as a performing company member, and collaborate in an inter-abled environment.
