Brandi Main

Brandi Main is an active violinist and teacher in the Boston area. She has performed onstage in orchestras across the United States and in Boston-area groups such as Cape Ann Symphony Orchestra, Melrose Symphony Orchestra, Quincy Symphony Orchestra, New England Film Orchestra, and Kendall Square Orchestra. Brandi has performed for chamber music festivals including the Walla Walla Chamber Music Festival, Icicle Creek Chamber Music Festival, and she earned distinction as a Festival Scholar at the Heartland Chamber Music Festival where she performed live on Kansas Public Radio (KPR). In addition to performance, Brandi has a passion for teaching and for production management in the arts. She served in production roles at such as Boston Landmarks Orchestra, Handel and Haydn Society, and the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in Boston as well as the Walla Walla Chamber Music Festival in Washington. She received an M.M. in Violin Performance at Bowling Green State University, a B.M. in Violin Performance at the University of Puget Sound, and she completed the IES Vienna Music Program as a student and performer in Vienna, Austria. Brandi is currently Manager of Graduate Student Services at the Boston University College of Fine Arts, teaches her private studio, and she always looks forward to new and exciting performance opportunities.
